Spanish Nurse Teresa Romero is now Ebola-Free

Spanish nursing assistant, Teresa Romero, who got infected with Ebola after treating two Spanish priests from Sierra Leone has managed to beat it after nearly two weeks of treatment in Madrid.

Teresa Romero, 44, is believed to be the first person to have caught Ebola via transmission outside of West Africa in the current outbreak. Two nurses in the U.S. later contracted Ebola after treating a Liberian man who died at a Dallas hospital. After Romero was diagnosed Oct. 6, her dog, Excalibur,
was euthanized as a precaution and husband, Javier Limon, has been hospitalized in isolation even though he has yet to exhibit symptoms.
