Yesterday, the Zambian president, Michael Sata, died from an undisclosed ailment in a British hospital. Today, the country’s vice-president who is White, Guy Scott has been appointed as interim leader.

Guy Scott is has become the first white African president since the apartheid era in South Aftrica. No other sub-saharan African country has ever had white presidents.
However, his stay in office may be short lives as constitutionally, he can not run for president due to a clause that has to do with parentage and ancestry. His parents are scottish
