A former aide of Osama Bin Laden has been found guilty of plotting the al-Qaeda bombing of US embassies in east Africa in 1998 that killed 224 people.
Khalid al-Fawwaz, a Saudi national, was convicted today by a New York court after three days of jury deliberations. Al-Fawwaz, 52, was also described as Osama Bin Laden's spokesman in London.
He now faces a possible life sentence. See a photo of the 1998 bombings after the cut. Such a callous man.
