This teenage boy was killed while riding a hoverboard on the streets in North London. Nawaf Al-Tuwayan - who collided with a bus on Thursday evening - is believed to be the first victim of the craze for the £250 gadget.
According to the Daily Telegraph,The 15-year-old was on one of the self-balancing two-wheeled boards, which have been plagued with safety fears. As police investigate, council leaders said the tragedy underlined why riding hoverboards on pavements or public roads has been banned.As well as fears that riders could lose control, trading standards bosses say many imported hoverboards could explode while charging.

Nawaf, a pupil at Acton High School in West London, was found at about 6.30pm and pronounced dead by paramedics.Thebus driver was not arrested .
