A passenger plane travelling to Paris has been forced to land following the discovery of a suspected bomb in a toilet.
The Air France flight carrying 459 passengers and 14 crew members had taken off from Mauritius when the suspected device was found.
The plane was forced to divert to Mombasa in Kenya where passengers and crew were evacuated.
Kenyan police spokesman Charles Owino said:
"It requested an emergency landing when a device suspected to be an explosive was discovered in the lavatory."
The suspected device was removed from the plane and is now being investigated by experts.
