Secretary of State John Kerry said on Friday, January 23, that he plans to visit Nigeria “in a couple of days” ahead of the nation’s upcoming elections.According to the Washington Times, John Kerry will travel to Lagos on Sunday to “emphasize importance of upcoming elections being peaceful, non-violent, and credible.”Mr. Kerry will meet with presidential candidates, Goodluck Jonathan and Muhammadu Buhari, during his visit.
