A Celestial Church Pastor Has Been Arrested For Alleged Murdering His Member

A Celestial church pastor, Prophet Samson Olorunisola (alias Orun mi si), who is the Shepherd in charge of Jehovah Lass Parish, Powerline, Peace Estate, Ajasa-Command, Lagos, is answering questions from the Police at Panti Police Command for allegedly murdering a male member of his church.

Olorunisola was said to have hit the deceased, identified as Kehinde, on the head with a diabolic ring

Man Rapes Sales Girl In Broad Daylight

Not everybody walking on the street of Lagos is normal o. God help us! A 33-year-old man has been arrested and charged before Isolo Magistrates’ court for allegedly raping an 18-year-old girl at a boutique in Lagos State.

At the court, the presiding magistrate, Mrs Joy Ugbomoiko ordered him to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail.

The suspect, Okechukwu Okere, allegedly went to the boutique located at 125, Lawanson street, in Itire area of Lagos where the victim is the sale’s person. Okere pretended that he wanted to buy clothes and shoes. But unknown to the victim, he had another motive.

Buhari Is Operating As The Accuser, Prosecutor And Judge – Fayose

Governor of Ekiti State, Ayodele Fayose has accused President Muhammadu Buhari of single-handedly identifying and prosecuting leading figures of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) without the required evidence.

According to the governor, Buhari has been operating as the accuser, prosecutor and judge, at the same time, “carrying on as if those he accused of corruption have already been convicted”.

In a release issued on Friday by Lere Olayinka, his special assistant on public communications and new media, Fayose challenged the president to direct the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to charge Olisa Metuh, national publicity secretary of PDP, to court if the commission was sure of evidence of fraud against him.

“The EFCC appears to be operating a system in which an accused person is first arrested, detained endlessly while the anti-corruption agency goes about looking for evidence,” he said.

Uche Ekwunife, the senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, announced on Friday that she had defected to the All Progressives Congress (APC). Ekwunife, who was inaugurated as senator in June, 2015, had her election nullified by Appeal Court in Enugu on Dec. 6, 2015, on grounds of irregularities. The court ordered the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a fresh election in the zone within 90 days.

Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly called Majek Fashek, has explained that he only went into seclusion and not rehab as understood and alleged by Nigerians.

The legendary musician, for several months in 2015, was confined to an Abuja rehabilitation home, Synapse Services-Centre For Psychological Medicine.
However, in a recent interview on TVC, he said what got him into

Mtn Allegedly Recalls Sacked Visafone Staff

MTN Nigeria said it has recalled over 90 per cent of sacked employees of Visafone following its acquisition of the leading Coded Division Multiple
Access (CDMA) network.

According to reports all disengaged staff, excluding drivers and office assistants, have now been recalled.According to one of the recalled staff almost all the sacked staff have been reinstated and are now awaiting their new salary renumeration packages and work guidelines.

“When we were asked to leave, we were given only three months salaries in lieu of notice, which was not too good because some of us have put in five to 10 years of service. Visafone Communications came into Nigeria at a time when the defunct Multi-Links and Starcoms were dominating the CDMA sector. It broke their monopoly and instantly became the fourth largest network in the country.”
On the number of staff affected, our source said about 500 and not 2,000 as reported were involved because of the consecutive lay-off in 2013 and 2015 respectively.

Jim Nwobodo Dumps PDP for APC; He was Named in Dasukigate

Former governor of the old Anambra State, Jim Nwobodo, who admitted receiving N100million from former National Security Adviser, Sambo Dasuki, on Friday dumped the Peoples Democratic Party for the ruling All Progressive Congress.

He defected to the APC in Enugu alongside a former senator, Fidelis Okoro, representing Enugu North, and another chieftain of PDP, Richard Ozobu. They were received into the APC at the party’s meeting convened by Foreign Affairs Minister, Jeffrey Onyeama.

Punch reports that there were indications that the former PDP bigwigs’ defection did not go down well with the some APC members, who openly voiced their dissatisfaction with the development at
the meeting.
