Majekodunmi Fasheke, popularly called Majek Fashek, has explained that he only went into seclusion and not rehab as understood and alleged by Nigerians.
The legendary musician, for several months in 2015, was confined to an Abuja rehabilitation home, Synapse Services-Centre For Psychological Medicine.
However, in a recent interview on TVC, he said what got him into
seclusion was because some forces were trying to “tap in his spiritual intellect” and he had to go into seclusion for a while. Speaking on the kind of songs churned out by young artistes these days He said, “My future is in the hands of God and I hope to be bringing out new sound so I can challenge all these
young boys who are using women to shake their bum bum.
“By the way, I never went for rehab like most Nigerians
put it. I was on seclusion,” the legendary musician affirmed.
