Beyoncé's Grammys Dress Had Her Face on It As Designer Confirms She Paid homage to Oshun
While the world was captivated by her goddess-like look, it turns out that hidden right in the center of Beyonce's dress was a detail most of us missed , an embroidered portrait of Queen Bee herself.
In an interview with Vogue Runway, designer Peter Dundas revealed that the dress was inspired by the work of Gustav Klimt and Art Deco motifs, mixed together with lyrics from Beyoncé's song "Love Drought," which she performed during the event.
The designer went on to add that he also paid homage to the African goddess Oshun with the look, and chose to finish the whole thing off by embroidering two cherubs on her hips and Bey's face in the center.
