A British mother on holiday in Gibraltar claims to have been sexually assaulted by monkeys.
Melissa Hart, 23, a baker from Macclesfield, said she was attacked after going to see the island's famous Barbary macaques while wearing a bikini.Miss Hart, who was visiting the Rock on a day trip from Marbella, said she approached the monkeys who two of them began to pull at her clothes and hair.Speaking to Olive Press, she said:
Miss Hart was disappointed, however, after getting to the police station only to be told that wild animals cannot be held criminally responsible.

'I felt totally helpless as these two monkeys grabbed and pawed me in my most intimate areas.'Then, with a yank, one of them pulled my bikini top straight off.'But despite her plight, Miss Hart said none of the other tourists standing around stepped in to help, and instead began laughing.
I was being sexually assaulted and these people all thought it was a great joke.'Her screams soon attracted the attention of a warden, who freed her from the apes' clutches, but not satisfied with being taken to safety, she decided to file a police report.
