Have you read the testimony Kashamu shared after being released by NDLEA?

Ogun state, Senator-elect, Buruji Kashamu, is extremely relieved and immensely grateful, after the operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, vacated his home, following the siege laid to the premises for 6 days.

The NDLEA agents had attempted to arrest him and facilitate his extradition to the United States to answer drug-related charges, however, Kashamu locked himself up in his bedroom ad refused to come out.

A few weeks back, there were speculations that Femi Adesina of SUN newspaper will be appointed as Buhari's media spokesperson, well it has happened!
President Muhammadu Buhari has announced the first set of appointments into his administration.

A few moments ago, President Buhari announced Femi Adesina and Shehu Garba as his media spokespersons, well Nigerians have taken to twitter to react.
Some are just glad while others are asking questions.
What's the essence of having two media spokespersons, many asked.

Police in Lagos have arrested a member of a suspected robbery gang that usually wore military camouflage while robbing unsuspecting private and commercial vehicles trapped in traffic around Mile 2, Festac, Alakija and its environs.

Why Buhari Has Not Moved to Aso Rock — Aide

More than 48 hours after he became the President, Buhari and his VP, Prof Yemi Osinbajo are yet to move into Aso Rock. The head of his media team, Garba Shehu, on Sunday has explained why and according to him, this is because Buhari's official residence was not ready for habitation.

Shehu, in an exclusive interview with Punch said workers were currently cleaning and refurbishing the President’s official residence. That Buhari would not move in until that exercise was completed.

Shehu said:

The first civilian Governor of Bayelsa State, Diepreye Alamieyeseigha, has disclosed that the immediate past First Lady, Patience Jonathan, never wanted her husband, Goodluck Jonathan in politics.

He recalled Patience initially stood against the ex-president ambition as a deputy governorship candidate in 1998, ahead of the elections in 1999.

Alamieyeseigha at a banquet organised by the Bayelsa State Government, as part of programmes for a civic reception in honour of the former President at the Banquet Hall of Government House, Yenagoa, said Mrs Jonathan was satisfied with her husband’s progress at the defunct Oil Minerals Producing Areas Development Commission (OMPADEC), where he was an Assistant Director.
Jonathan was Alamieyeseigha’s deputy from 1999 to 2005, when he took over as governor after his boss was impeached over money laundering charges.

According to Pakistan's Maulana Fazlur Rehman, 'Women who wear jeans are the reason behind earthquakes'. Anyone who is ready for 'ode' talk can please read below...

During a press conference at a local hotel in Islamabad, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islami Fazl (JUI-F) Chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman asked the Pakistani armed forces to launch a military operation against women wearing jeans all over Pakistan.

According to him, the immodesty of women is the cause behind earthquakes, inflation and other kinds of disasters.

Fazlur Rehman went on to say that a woman who is not covered like a 'sack of flour' is a mobile weapon of mass destruction for her state and that Pakistan has multitude of such nuclear missiles in all its major cities.

President Buhari Reacts To Boko Haram’s Maiduguri Attack

Th President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the latest Boko Haram’s blow delivered to Maiduguri, Borno State, by condemning the sect’s actions and vowing to tackle terrorism.

The statement was signed by Garba Shehu, President Buhari’s assistant on media.

In the statement, President Buhari extended his condolences to the families of the victims. He asserted that his administration “will not tolerate wanton and wilful destruction of life by criminal elements that are bent on anarchy.”

Beau Biden, the former attorney general of Delaware and the eldest son of Vice President Joe Biden, has died of brain cancer. He was aged 46. His father, Joe Biden made the announcement in a statement on Saturday.

Woman sexually assaulted by 2 monkeys files police report against them

A British mother on holiday in Gibraltar claims to have been sexually assaulted by monkeys.

Melissa Hart, 23, a baker from Macclesfield, said she was attacked after going to see the island's famous Barbary macaques while wearing a bikini.Miss Hart, who was visiting the Rock on a day trip from Marbella, said she approached the monkeys who two of them began to pull at her clothes and hair.Speaking to Olive Press, she said:
