President Goodluck Visits The Lords Chosen Church

President Goodluck Jonathan extended his visit to another church – The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic RevivalMinistry of Pastor Lazarus Muoka – in Lagos, this is coming a day after he famously knelt down for prayers in front of Pastor Adeboye of The Redeemed Christian Church of God during service.

As prelude to the Feb 14th election, Jonathan has intensified his visits to churches.Jonathan has so far worshipped in not less than four churches in various parts of the country.
Jonathan has visited the Dunamis Gospel Centre,Living Faith Church in Lagos , Living Faith Church, Keffi, Nasarrawa State, and The Redeemed Christian Church of God.

Pastor Tunde Bakare of Latter Rain Assembly has been very vocal in his condemnation of Jonathan's antics which he termed " Shameless Campaign". he expressed his disapproval of Jonathan’s action. According to him: “Kneeling before Adeboye was a clear campaign tactic which also diminishes the president and his office. Jonathan has signalled the the commencement of his presidential campaign by going to kneel down before Pastor Adeboye. See, I am not saying that pastors should not pray for the president but Jonathan is a symbol of an institution known as the presidency. He cheapened the institution by prostrating before a man of God because of perceived political advantage he thinks he can get.
The president is scheduled to visit other places of worship in a bid to garner more votes.
