Policeman Shoot Man Dead On His Way To Put His Father In The Mortuary (photos)

A policeman allegedly shot dead a young man who was on his way to make preparations to deposit his father in the mortuary earlier today. The man who hails from Abala in Obinggwa LGA, Abia State was on his motorcycle, heading to the bank to withdraw money in order to make deposit at the hospital when a police officer tried to stop him. It was while he was trying to escape from the police to avoid them seizing his bike that one of the police officers shot him dead.

Gunmen on motorbike shoot at tourists in Egyptian capital city

 Tourists have been attacked by gunmen in Cairo as they boarded a bus near the city's ancient pyramids. Men on a motorcycle opened fire on the group on Thursday morning outside a hotel, which lies on a road leading to the famous tourist site. One gunman was arrested at the scene and security forces surrounded the other attacker in another part of Cairo, a source said. There were no immediate reports of deaths.

An armed man 'wearing a suicide belt' has been shot dead outside a police station in Paris on the anniversary of the Charlie Hebdo attacks. The man had been trying to enter the police station in Barbes, northern Paris, shouting 'Allahu Akbar' and threatening officers with a knife. French officials say the man was wearing a belt made out to look like a suicide vest, but a bomb-disposal unit has since confirmed that it was a fake. A Paris police source confirmed that they are investigating the attack as potential terrorism. The man did have a belt, but it was a fake. The bomb-disposal unit confirmed it was a fake,' the police union source said.

Family 'Lived Alongside Rotting Corpse Of 7-Year-Old Son For A Month'

A family allegedly spent a month eating and sleeping next to the rotting corpse of their seven-year-old son. The mother and father have now been arrested by police who believe they spent up to four weeks living alongside the body.

Spanish police found the pair, along with their two teenage daughters, in the same room as the dead boy after letting themselves into their rented home in Girona in north east Spain with a key given to them by the landlady.

Investigators are awaiting the results of a post-mortem to confirm their suspicions the youngster died of an illness.
