Health Workers At The Bola Tinubu Health & Diagnostic Centre Protest 5 Months Non-Payment Of Salaries

Health workers at the Bola Tinubu Health and Diagnostic Centre at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital, Ikeja, have protested the non-payment of their salary for five months, Punch reports.

The workers staged a peaceful protest at the head office of Deux Nigeria Limited in Ikoyi, Lagos on Wednesday.

According to the workers, who called on the state government to intervene in the matter, Deux Nigeria Limited is the consulting company handling the maintenance and payment of staff salaries at the diagnostic centre in LASUTH, owned in a public- private partnership with the Lagos State Government.

Americans Arrive University of Ibadan To Learn Yoruba Language

In spite of the sentiments bothering on preference for the use of  English Language at the expense of  Yoruba Language,  it is interesting to observe that it is still being sought after not only  by Africans in diaspora but also Americans and Asians.

Some Americans have arrived the Centre for Yoruba Studies at the University of Ibadan, Oyo State to learn the Yoruba Language. This is however not the first time Americans will arrive Ibadan, to learn the language as four Americans in 2011 graduated from the centre. Watch the video here.

According to Daily Mail, A Travelodge guest found a hidden camera in her shower which was linked by a wire to a cupboard in the hotel hallway.

 

Harmony Hachey, 23, from Edinburgh, was washing in the cubicle when she noticed a small electronic device hidden behind a vent at the Oxford Wheatley Travelodge.

She took a closer look and realized it was a camera which was pointing directly at where she was standing naked in the shower.

Ms Hachey immediately informed the hotel staff, who traced the device to a maintenance cupboard which backs onto the room. She said. ‘I was absolutely disgusted. I got a fork and stuck it in the vent. You could see so clearly it was a camera.

Sean Fletcher, showed the results from when he was connected him to a machine that replicates the full agony of having a baby."Before the pain kicked in,the team then asked if he was going to cry? He said

"The pads are on, here we go. "That was really unpleasant, that is why I'm a man," he continued, as he screamed and wriggled in pain. I don't think the word pain does it justice," said the presenter, before he then thanked his wife for giving birth to their little ones. To all the mums out there I have so much respect for you."

The female doctor worksat the Johor Bahru hospital in Malaysia.
The country's health minister Dr Seri Subra promised swift action to punish the doctor for the breach of medical ethics but said that they were waiting for an investigation by the medical ethics panel before deciding whether she should be sacked or fined.
Although censored, the patient's private parts are clearly visible in the photo, which a short while later went viral.
