Ebola: Stella Adadevoh's son recounts her last moments in new interview

Dr Stella Ameyo Adadevoh is being hailed worldwide as the heroine who saved Nigeria from a disastrous Ebola epidemic.
Dr Adadevoh identified the disease in infected Liberian, Patrick Sawyer and prevented him from leaving the First Consultant Hospital in Obalende, where she worked, despite immense pressure. She died of Ebola on August 19, 2014.
The brave doctor is survived by her only son, Bankole Cardoso, who is also the founder of taxi service, EasyTaxi.
In an interview with NPR, he opens up on his mother’s battle with Ebola and the hole her absence has left in his family. Excerpts below:
